Low Light Handgun

Recognising that low-light training is one of the most difficult areas to maintain proficiency, we have developed the Low light handgun course to engage students with critical skills on the handgun to ensure a basic understanding of solid techniques that they can then develop to proficiency. Proper employment of white light as a deterrent, and for positive threat identification are the most important aspects of low light and the entire class it built around those goals. Our instruction with an expectation of student weapon safety and basic understanding of both marksmanship and firearms controls.   While this class does not have a pre-requisite, it will be expected for students to display basic proficiency.

Proper employment of white light as a deterrent, and for positive threat identification are the most important aspects of low light and the entire class it built around those goals. Our instruction with an expectation of student weapon safety and basic understanding of both marksmanship and firearms controls. While this class does not have a pre-requisite, it will be expected for students to display basic proficiency.

Night Vision Fundamentals

The Tier 1 Night Vision Fundamentals course is designed to introduce the technical and physical skills best suited for the use of night vision devices in low/no light conditions.  NVF is not a traditional shooting course; instead it is focused on developing a foundational understanding of the proper employment of force multiplication through applied technological advantages. During this two day course, students will be introduced to the concepts and principles associated with effective use of night vision and night vision devices against threats; weapon manipulation under NV and techniques designed to maximise the inherent advantages of NV use.  

Vehicle Defensive Handgun

The vehicle, be it sedan, coupe, truck or motorcycle, presents a number of unique challenges for self-defense and the defense of loved ones.  From reduced mobility to the dangers of the comfort in patterns the vehicle provides; the access and potential use of a firearm inside or while entering/ exiting a vehicle is a complicated problem that requires specific training to confront the non-traditional nature of fighting from or in an enclosed space. The Tier 1 Tactics Vehicle Defense course provides hands-on instruction and fundamental exercises for fighting in a confined environment, focusing on concepts and principles of close contact shooting and physical movement from less-than-ideal positions.
